We’ll start out in the birthplace of the California wine industry, Sonoma Valley. Nestled between the Mayacamas and Sonoma mountains, the “Valley of the Moon” is home to more than 50 wineries. The 17-mile valley – one of 12 distinct wine growing regions in greater Sonoma County — has the right combination of microclimates and soil types for grapes to be grown on hundreds of acres of prime vineyard terrain. Historic Sonoma Plaza is home to the San Francisco Solano Mission (the last Franciscan mission built in California). More than 40 restaurants offer dining options from formal to casual. This customizable Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley vacation package includes 4 night accommodations and multiple private tours of Sonoma and Napa Wine Country. Spend leisurely days tasting wines and visiting the vineyards of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. On your final day, take a hot air balloon ride, hike the scenic area, or enjoy a cooking class – it’s your call. Classic Packages are available to reserve online.
